LCD black and white screens are divided into reflective, semi-transmissive and fully transmissive according to the display mode.
1. A reflective plate is added behind the bottom polarizer of a reflective LCD, usually used outdoors and in well-lit offices.
Transflective LCDs are located in between the above two, the bottom polarizer can partially reflect the light, and generally has a backlight. When the light is good, the backlight can be turned off; when the light is bad, the backlight can be turned on to use the LCD.
2. Transmissive) The bottom polarizer of the LCD is a transmissive polarizer, which requires continuous use of the backlight and is generally used in an environment with poor light.
LCD black and white screen is divided into positive film and negative film according to the display mode.
1. Positive) LCD presents black characters on a white background, and displays well in reflective and transflective LCDs;
2. Negative) LCD displays white characters on a black background, generally used for fully transparent LCD liquid crystals. With backlight, fonts are clear and easy to read.
